10 years of wear and tear & poor management ...

Please don't be fooled by the photos, they were taken before the dining table started loosing it's finish, the outdoor table started to deteriorate and you could actually get the gate leading to Lee Avenue open. The wear and tear of the last ten years is very EVIDENT. Things you would expect from your vacation rental that were NOT provided: - no laundry detergent - no shampoo - no bath mats - no coffee & coffee filters - no salt & pepper - no sponge The cleaning and maintenance were sub-par as well. - two crisper drawers not wiped out - garbage in the trash can under the clean trash bag - wads of dog hair on the bottom sheet and no top sheet on the lower bunk - dead bugs and dust/dirt under one of the beds - dirty towels in one nightstand drawer ... ewww - light bulbs burned out in bathroom and kitchen - GFCI in one of the bathrooms not working - bathroom door in the hallway would not latch - tub bathroom drain running slow in the hall to the point your feet are under water by the time you finished your shower - only one pillow on the king size bed There was a lovely binder with the usual house rules and check-out duties. In addition there was copious amounts of information on the area ... all printed in 2011 ... 13 years ago! It is a shame, the location is convenient to downtown. If there isn't investment made in or action taken soon, I can't imagine anyone wanting to stay in this place ... and we paid a premium for a festival weekend.

Not as expected

I attempted to contact the property management prior to our arrival and received no response. I did not hear from them until the day of check in and received the check in details. We arrived late that evening and ready for bed. Upon arrival, the unit was upstairs and there are old containers filled with cigarettes outside of our door. The unit was a nice size but it was dirty and not maintained. There were gnats in the drain of the large bedroom bathroom. Both of the bathrooms had build up in the tub, floors and toilet. The refrigerator was dirty. The couch was old and smelled. There were water stains on a bedroom ceiling. It’s a very noisy location, especially late at night. The units need maintenance and thorough cleaning.

Perfect for us

We booked this during evacuation for hurricane. There was slight trouble initially getting into condo the first night due to so miscommunication. But the property manager came and got it cleared up. The property is close to a bus station but we had no issue. The owner was very very accommodating, even offering us a “long term rate” due to our situation which we very much appreciated during these trying times. This was like home away from home.

Great location!

The space was great! We had a private chef come in on Valentine’s Day here and loved the experience. Everything was clean, comfortable and spacious. I will definitely be booking this again!

Very cute condo

The condo was very clean and very nicely decorated. It also fit my family of eight very nicely. You could hear the train at times but we got use to it quickly. My kids loved the visiting cats in the yard as well. We would definitely consider using this property again when we come back into town.

Needed to check out a day early, emailed Chase, never heard back. Waiting on a refund. also You won’t sleep here due to trains running every 3 hours. Lastly, it didn’t have ESpN to watch bowl games. I travel a lot and have never stayed somewhere that didn’t have sports channel

This is my second time staying here. There were a few issues,like my door code not working. But a quick call remedied that. They came, checked and fixed the issue. The cable went out and Ms. Charlotte came right away to assist me. Although, there were a few issues, the staff worked quickly in fixing it. I will definitely put this place as my 1st option when coming in town.

This property is in a rather seedy neighborhood, next to the bus station and some railroad tracks. There were a few homeless people hanging around the station, though a police car was usually present in the area. The yard around the property could use some cleanup. The condo itself was very nice with large living spaces and nice furnishings. The tv didn’t work. We called the property manager and a very nice woman came promptly and got it going. The next day the tv didn’t work again, so the woman came and got it going again. The smaller bedroom had only a bottom sheet and a bedspread. Would have been nice to have a top sheet and blanket as well. The shower curtain in the first bathroom had some mold on the inside and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The condo has little sound insulation, so we could clearly hear traffic noise, trains going through a few times a day, and we could even hear the conversations of people walking by. The biggest problem was when people moved in below us at 11:30 pm on our last night there and their kids ran up and down their hallway, yelling and laughing until about 2:30 am, even though we knocked on the floor, etc. If was a very unique place, but I’d never stay there again.
