The appearance and location of the hotel was the catch. The 2 rooms we were given were extremely small with all dilapidated fixtures and not well maintained furniture. The telephones in the 2 rooms booked did not work. We had to go all the way downstairs to communicate with front desk and Resturant. Room service fee was =N=2000 in comparison with similar star hotel who charge only =N=500\. Doors were damaged, handles was rusty and brown. Tv was not smart TV. It was a huge disappointment for money paid. The check in was smooth and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. My room was big and shower was excellent. Room service was always prompt and I am very happy with the choice of breakfast. I ordered dinner once and was not disappointed. I was able to see Tee offs from hole 6 of the Ikeja Golf course from my room balcony. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel itself needs repairs. In our bathroom most things were either out of order or needed repairs. We paid extra for a suite and it was no bigger than your average hotel in the USA. It was definitely not a suite and not worht the $200+ dollars a night we spent. The pool area is nice. They call this hotel Golfview but I did not see any view of the golf course. I'm not a golfer so this was no big deal it was just something I noticed. I checked that I would recommend this hotel to a friend because of its friendly staff, proximity to the airport and the safety.
