We enjoyed our room. Felt like there were a lot of rules and that we were somehow I trouble ex. Not on time for breakfast or wanting a drink from bar. A little too far from the beach for us but still loved our room .

This was such a great place to stay!! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Very clean and the staff is wonderful. Has a nice pool and breakfast was great. Only about 20 minute walk into the old town. Perfect!

We had a nice stay with Solar de Mos. The property is beautiful but our room was smaller than expected but I do know all rooms are slightly different. It’s a very cute boutique hotel that has preserved its beauty over the years. The pool is stunning, clean and we loved the pink hotel with yellow seating. Our rooms felt very clean but the blankets were very thin and not the most comfortable. Also to close the doors you have to slam them shut, which makes it hard to sleep in the morning when everyone needs to slam their doors. And if you’re a woman coming alone there was no extra security to lock the door from the inside, in case that’s important to you. Also things move slower in this hotel (check in, needing help, etc) which is expected as it’s family owned. But overall a nice stay!

Séjour parfait. Petit dejeuner buffet varié et de qualité. Le calme absolu. Un excellent accueil avec beaucoup de conseils, d'idees de balade et adresses de bon restaurants, notamment le rooftop du marché aux poissons qui accueille le restaurant Mare.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, but this recent trip, I thought the hotel looked very tired. It was totally full, and the receptionist gave me a room on the ground floor, right by the front doors. Very noisy. People banging this door until the early hours. I had emailed them twice before, to try to be accommodated in one of the villas, as I had been in there before and it’s much nicer. I received no reply from either email, and the receptionist was not interested in what I was saying. This hotel used to be much better, really good customer service, but not any more, I felt ignored and considered to be demanding ,.. oh well, things change , but service shouldn’t. Lagos is very expensive now, lots of new hotels going up, so they need to be mindful of this.

Solar de Mos was a peaceful retreat that’s close to the old city and surrounding beaches. The grounds are lovely and the pool refreshing and clean. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff are super helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

So happy to have stayed here. We even extended our stay 1 more night since we loved the area and the hotel was incredibly relaxing. The staff is so nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and it’s just BEAUTIFUL. Don’t hesitate to book here. Even the breakfast was delicious

Hotel is nice, however not worth almost $300/night. Room service is terrible-left tag on door to clean and not sure if it fell off or got twisted but room was not cleaned, called at night and no answer, following day front desk said it would be cleaned, went out and 3 hours later still not clean, had to call again, finally got cleaned at 3pm. Although quiet, not centrally located to the beach and/or the city center. Rooms are very upgraded, shower has great pressure, toiletries are provided-smell a little strange though. Main pool is nice but small. 2nd pool is in shambles, needs alot of work, broken tiles and dirty. Parking is included and abundant but locked lot is a bit of a hassle - you have to call front desk to open and close which was not possible for me as I only have cell data capability. Room had terrace which we used but most times was too sunny or windy to really enjoy extensively. Mini bar/fridge was small but we made it work to our advantage. A place like far away from city, beach, supermakerkets and restaurants should have mini kitchens and or a bigger refrigerator to store items, as well as access to ice. AC in room is a split duct which kept it very cold. Breakfast was 6/10- bacon and eggs were cold, breads, cakes were hard, stale/not fresh. Fresh fruit and juices were nice but that only goes soo far. Overall it had me wanting more for my money. May want to consider offer places depending on what you want.
