Maui

The villa was well equipped, however could be cleaner. The view in the picture of the patio is not that direct of a view, landscaping has taken over and the view is blocked when sitting at the table. The villa is right by the community pool, which is good and bad. Liked the location of the villa and would return.

Walk to everything!

Great location- quiet at night, super clean, very comfortable bed, loved the roomy shower! We loved having coffee along outside on the patio while watching for whales. Don't forget your binoculars! It was lovely to use the folding chairs supplied when we walked over to Kapalua Bay beach to snorkel and swim. We also loved being able to walk to the shops/restaurants/walking trails near the Ritz. Nice to make some of our own meals along with dining out. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return soon! Thank you!

Weeklong getaway

My wife and I recently stayed here for a weeklong getaway from reality. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before and loved it with our entire family. This time we came just the two of us and this one bedroom condo was the perfect size for us. Beautiful place with beautiful views.

Lovely stay in Kapalua!

We had a fantastic time at this condo in Kapalua. It is conveniently located between Kapalua Bay Beach and Oneloa Bay, and even has trail access that connects the beaches. Waking up to the view of the ocean was perfect— and just a short drive to great coffee and restaurants! Can’t wait to return soon.

Perfect stay

We loved the location, the complex and surrounding area were very quiet and peaceful. Waking up to a view of the ocean from the bed was absolute heaven. Check in was easy, parking was close, the unit was spotless, the beach that’s a short walk away is very nice and not crowded. Hoping to return and stay at this same condo next year.

Epic View and location

The property was fantastic, missing a few things that might put it over the top , such as a few beach chairs and umbrella. It’s missing the personal touches of being managed by an owner verses an agent . No games or little extras to make it our first choice to return, if the prices are the same as others nearby I would choose the ones with chairs, beach or snorkeling stuff so you don’t have to rent or buy or bring on the plane. The views and decor are gorgeous and overall it still rates 5 stars. Kapalua Villas is my favorite place so far in my 4 trips to Maui. It’s in a gated Community right next to the Montage and Ritz Carlton. Surrounded by golf courses and lush beautiful greenery, with full ocean views and access.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the condo in many ways but also not some. We had a nightmare of a time getting in and dealing with rental company. As a 14-year regional property manger, a prior Maui Hotel Manager, and a 23 year real estate agent, I can assure you the management needs to improve! Their unhelpfulness is beyond acceptable for anyone. Check in was terrible - be aware your cell will not work there until you hook up to internet. No one is onsite to assist you unlike most hotel rentals, they are 20 minutes away and we waited 2.5 hrs with groceries trying to get inside. The code they gave us did not work, and the person arrived just after they gave us one that did.It rained daily and was windy and cold most days so be aware weather is different in this area. Photos do not show the HUGE fight of stairs or that you have to walk from parking lot to even get to the unit, and then go around side of building. With luggage and groceries its a LONG journey! =(We had a **** of a time arriving two hours early, tons of groceries, and cell did not work unless connected to internet. THAT WAS NOT NOTED IN RENTAL INFO ANYWHERE!Home is nice inside but lacks privacy and also is side oceanfront not as photos led me to believe. The patio is on side of home facing all other homes NOT THE OCEAN as photos suggest just small space large enough for a table and 2 chairs. Don't be fooled. Patio is all shaded with no sun. Upstairs patio faces all condo not the ocean. Who wants to look at the side of houses? I would have been happier IN TOWN-closer to all amenities, better weather, and swimmable beaches. Also with management office onsite to handle issues. When I told them I was given minimal supplies (2 tiny bars of soap for 2 bathrooms and shower, they never offered to bring us more). Management company def needs improvement. I cater to my clients all the time and they made no attempt to make us happy. I'm sure they loved all the alcohol and food we left them however. We hope the ma

Beautiful home in a prime location. Was perfect for our family of 4 to go back and forth between Maui. Clean, cute decor, beautiful view of the ocean. Has a small private beach, little rocky hike for the kids to explore, friendly neighbors. Gated quiet community. Would stay here again

Kapalua vacation

The property and location were amazing, and more beautiful than what the pictures showed. We were much closer to the beach than I thought we would be. The location was quiet and peaceful. The check in process was clear and easy. The price for the property was very reasonable, and there was plenty of room in the unit. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property!

We had the most amazing week and one of our best vacations which was mostly because of the comfort level we had at the condo and how convenient everything was. This condo is beautiful inside and out, and when I got there, the pictures didn’t do justice to how wonderful this place is. I’m so happy we went in February as we were able to view the whales from the balcony. We will definitely come again!

Kapalua bay villas

Overall really enjoyed the property. The pictures were a little misleading in that it looks like there is grass surrounding the lower balcony but it is rock landscaping not grass. Was a little disappointed as we specifically booked the property for the grass area that our baby could crawl on. Besides that we enjoyed the stay and the kapalua area was amazing! Loved the beaches. Was great being so close to the pool
