King Bed. 505 Front Street is closed because of the fire. The lahaina harbor will be opened on the DEC,2025 Check for weekly discounts .We are on the 6th floor oceanfront with lanai. Incredible view from our condo. King bed, updated kitchen has everything you will need. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels are included. If arriving at the hotel after 10 pm , you must call the telephone number on the front door of the hotel and the night clerk will let you in. He will take you to your room and give you the key. Please let me know in advance if you are arriving after 10 pm so I can give the nite clerk your name and room number Minimum nite stay is 3 nites except in hi season minimum nite stay. December, January, March is six nites Checkin time is 3 pm checkout time is 11 am There is no maid service . Pick up key at front desk. Front desk open until 10 pm After 10 pm call number on front door for nite supervisor to let you in. Ask for weekly price discount in the off season months of April through November. Remodelled to their specific requirements, and on the coveted sixth floor, with a private terrace overlooking the sea. New Management has plans to make Lahaina Shores a boutique hotel. The builder of Lahaina shores chose this unit and the one next door as his personal residence. He looked at the location in the hotel and the incredible view and made the decision to buy on the sixth floor away from the distraction of 505 front street at the north end of the hotel. we bought this unit and VRBO 662110 from him. This studio is direct ocean front on the sensational 6th floor at the sought after Lahaina Shores Beach resort. and has an unobstructed ocean view. You may rent this condo and the one next door if you have more than 2 people in your group and use the full kitchen in 609 this condo, to cook for your group. Because of the smoke damage all the condos of the hotel are painted. There are new air conditioning vents. The tropical and crimson sunsets from the 6 th floor are memorable and there is only one brass moon in the sky in Lahaina. The shimmering moon will send moonlight into our 6 th floor condo. When you look out from your balcony in the evening the stardust in the sky gives off a magical feeling. The location is at the quiet end of the hall and away from the noise of 505 front street. The view is 180 degrees from our 6th-floor condo. Few vacationers during the first 5 days of the stay so we had the beach to ourselves, the pool, the hot tub and parking access when we wanted. Rest of the area is still rebuilding from the fire so mostly the residents from Lahaina Shores on the beach and a few locals that came in for surfing. We meet the resident Hawaiian Monk Seal 3 times on the east end of the shore between 10 am and noon, sunbathing and relaxing! Views from the Lanai are fantastic all day long from sunrise to nighttime. We saw turtles from the Lanai in the mornings, swimming along the shores and whales in the distance towards the end of our stay! Parking spots are tight and especially for big vehicles. Spots filled up towards the last couple days of our stay. Communication with host Marge, was prompt and timely throughout our stay. Place was clean, showers were hot and with good water pressure, there is A/C although we slept without A/C to the sounds of the waves! If you plan on cooking, will need to plan for all groceries from sugar, coffee grounds etc but Safeway is about a mile away. Could have spent the whole time relaxing at Lahaina shores but of course we did spend some time doing the tourist stuff. It was wonderful to wake up looking at the ocean every morning! Kitchen was well stocked and we loved having beach chairs to take to the beach every day. The unit was clean, and it had all we needed for the stay. You will see some spectacular sunsets from this unit's lanai. The condo property is in a great location. It is an easy walk to restaurants and stores in Lahaina, as well as to the harbor. So refreshing to start & end the day with a stunning ocean view. We loved the easy access to the beach, pool, and Lahaina restaurants/shops/excursions. The staff was always friendly & helpful and communication with our host was appreciatively courteous & timely. The place was clean and came with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, everything we needed. Close to everything (a few minutes walking) shops restaurants, etc. but not so close that you get the tourist traffic. The property was well kept, and beautiful. The beach is right there. We had a fantastic time. The host Marge was very responsive and friendly. What a wonderful place to stay! Listing pics match perfectly. Everything is within walking distance or a reasonable drive. We were able to watch whales play out in the water early morning and late evening as well as seals frolicking 30 feet from our spot on the beach. The building itself is quiet and well maintained with helpful staff. Studio is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Area has tons to do and everyone is soooo friendly. We loved the great, unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony and the peacefulness of the setting. There was not unwanted noise from the neighboring businesses, residences, public part of the beach or the people at the hotel. It was great to walk to everything in Old Town Lahaina and the access to the highway for touring around Maui was very convenient. This is now our favorite place to stay in Maui! The condo is OCEAN FRONT with breathtaking views. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning worked beautifully. The condo has everything you could possibly need from kitchen items to beach chairs/umbrella. Parking was easy underground and a true bargain at $4/night. The condo is a short/flat easy 10 minute walk to Lahaina Harbor(sailing, whale watching etc) and the multiple stores/restaurants of Lahaina town. We loved the quiet vibe of Lahaina Shores. The view from the unit is amazing and you won't want to leave. The booking, check in/ out, and communication was super easy. The property is perfectly located in downtown Lahaina. Because technically the room was ours since the day before, we didn't have to wait until the 3pm check-in, which was a blessing. There was a lovely breeze coming through the lobby and we could see the pool & hot tub. The people at the check-in desk were all very welcoming. We got our keys and the parking card, and off we went to see our home away from home for the next two weeks. I will say the hallways could stand some refurbishing, but I understand that will be happening in the spring. We opened the door to 609 and were very happy to find it very much like the photos we'd seen when we booked. The kitchen is small, but had everything we needed. The full-size refrigerator was great, and we liked the built in ice maker. There was plenty of storage space between the closet and the drawers, and things like portable coolers, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas, were also available. There was even a laundry basket in the closet, which made it easy to bring the wash to the laundry room by the elevators during our stay. The king size bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows. There was a big TV, but we never used it so I don't have any opinion on that. One of the selling points for us was the view from the lanai and it did not disappoint. We spent a lot of time sitting there, enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean. We saw lots of whales from our vantage point. You don't need binoculars, but if you have them, bring them. The sunsets were beautiful, and we even had a monk seal come on the beach on our last day. The only things we didn't like was that there was no safe in the room, or a way to lock the lanai doors. The room with the toilet and shower is a bit narrow, so if you're a large person, you may feel a little cramped on the toilet—but the shower is great. The other big reason we chose Lahaina Shores was how close it was to the harbor and everything that's available on Front Street. We are seniors and not fitness fanatics, but it was only about a 10 minute walk to the harbor and the Banyan tree. We only used the car when we went far afield or to the far end of Front Street, where Lahaina Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Ululani's, and Fleetwoods are, and that was largely because we knew we'd be tired when it came time to walk back.
