Bach 1 - Loburn Bach Accommodation, in the Lake Ferry Village

Our property has 2 separate Bach's:
Bach 1 - has a separate master bedroom (queen bed) and an open plan lounge with a double sofa bed and full kitchen.
Bach 2 - is our studio unit with a queen bed in the lounge as well as a double sofa bed and full kitchen (open plan)

We are a dog friendly accommodation - ($10 per day for your pooch's stay) please add this to your initial booking so we are aware that you are bringing your furry friend.

Other points to note:
(1) Internet coverage in the Bach's is limited due to the location of the tower across the Lake and the trees on our Property, there is coverage in the reserve next door.
(2) One.nz (ex Vodafone) - there is next to zero coverage in the whole village.

Both Bach's are situated in a lovely quiet garden surround and next to a large green grass Reserve. The Reserve leads straight onto the Lake.

The Lake Ferry Hotel and beach are less than a 10 minutes walk away in the Lake Ferry Village.

The Pirinoa Store and Land Girl Cafe are a 6 minute drive before the Lake Ferry Village

Tourist attractions include: Ngawi Village, Palliser Bay Lighthouse, the Putangirua Pinnacles and Martinborough - all within a 20 minute drive.

Doggie Rules - Strictly no dogs on the furniture, all dogs must be well managed out of respect for other guests. If you have not paid for your pooch in advance you will be asked on arrival for the cost of their stay.

Been to this bach before, however now has new owners. They were very welcoming. Enjoyed our mini break from our dogs, cats and teen. Only downside was slow internet. Maybe need to get a booster. Otherwise a lovely few days away from reality. Carlene and Neil.

Loburn Bach Accommodation
Lake Ferry is a beautiful place to stay and Loburn Bach is conveniently located on the main road to Onoke Spit. Andy was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The bach was warm and cosy and had everything that we required. It is sited in a quiet location and the surrounding garden was lovely.

Ideal location in Lake Ferry. Property owners very friendly and helpful. The unit was extremely clean, quiet and convenient. We were delighted to be able to take our little dog there. A few recommendations: please don't assume that two adults are a couple, and even if they are they may not want to share a bed! Soap or bodywash in the shower would be helpful. A few basic kitchen supplies would be fantastic as there is no dairy in Lake Ferry: a bit of milk for a much needed cuppa after a long drive, some herbal teas, olive oil and a few condiments. But all in all I recommend this place. Thank you to the hosts.

Spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was in the cottage, but be mindful of the limited internet reception. Plenty of kitchen equipment, sheltered carport with bbq Dog friendly was a decidedly big factor for us. Hosts were lovely, including checking in on us during an out of the box hurricane. 🙄

Lovely weekend getaway
We had a fantastic long weekend at Loburn Bach. Andy and Lea are lovely and friendly hosts and we felt very welcome. The bach is of a high standard and came with all the amenities we could need and is on a lovely property. It's situated only a couple of minutes walk to the lake and we had a great time taking our puppy for big walks and swims at the lake. He had a great time. Also only a few minutes down the road to the beach for fishing. We'd highly recommend booking to stay here, and we'll no doubt be back to stay again in the future.
