Tree House Feel in a Perfect Location<br>

  • Mountain View en la parte superior del lado de la colina boscosa en el principal distrito turístico. Los alrededores de Lake Placid Lodge, Whiteface Lodge, Whiteface Club Resort y Mackenzie Mountain Wilderness ofrecen el mejor golf, tenis, natación, canotaje, spa, senderos para caminatas en la naturaleza, además de opciones de comida informal o elegante junto al lago con vistas espectaculares. Todo esto y el centro de la calle principal está a 6 minutos en coche.

    En la planta principal hay un tocador, un dormitorio principal con cama queen, baño principal con ducha de azulejos y vestidor. Hay otro dormitorio con un sofá cama y una cama nido. También en la planta principal hay una gran sala con techo abovedado que incluye sala de estar con chimenea de gas envolvente de piedra, TV por cable de pantalla plana, una cocina abierta con encimeras de piedra y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, y un comedor.

    La planta baja cuenta con dos dormitorios, uno con cama de matrimonio y la otra con dos camas individuales y una litera. También hay una sala de estar, baño completo y fácil acceso al garaje adjunto, con paneles de madera para dos automóviles, configurado como sala de recreo con juego de Wii, futbolín y espacio suficiente para trabajar en esquís y bicicletas. Hay un Weber Gas Grill en la terraza junto a la cocina, y una bonita terraza en la parte trasera de la casa para barbacoas y una gran mesa de picnic.

    Puede esquiar o caminar desde la casa hasta el sendero Jackrabbit o simplemente sentarse en la terraza y disfrutar escuchando el murmullo del año en la parte trasera de la propiedad.

Very nice house. Was great that they had lots of cooking supplies in the kitchen already (pots, pans, Tupperware, knives). Great views in the backyard.

This cabin is the ideal way to enjoy the Lake Placid region - you are a comfortable distance from town for unwinding but are still only minutes away from activities, shopping, and particularly close to two excellent grocery stores. There is room for the whole family to spread out, too: the pictures hardly do this cabin justice. The kitchen and living room in particular are spacious and well-stocked. We had everything we needed. The cabin remains cozy while being big enough to not mind a rainy afternoon or a night in, especially after a day full of mountains/lakes. The neighborhood was quiet, even during the busy 4th of July weekend. Check-in was simple, as was the process for cleaning and checking out. My family had an excellent time and will return.

Great location - Lovely House

We stood at the house for a long weekend with family and had a great time. The house was very comfortable and had many little welcoming touches. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy, but spacious. We were able to have our own area to read, game, craft, etc. Very clean, instructions were spot on. Amazing views and loved that it was set back from the road. Will be back next year!

Great family vacation in a fantastic cabin!

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin! Was in a great location minutes from downtown Lake Placid with gorgeous mountain views. The host was very gracious and was easy to communicate with when needed.

The house was clean and easily accessed. The view from the deck was beautiful and perfect for morning coffee. David was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend.

Getaway

We had a great time staying at the house. Had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Loved both decks. You could hear the crick water flow which sounded so relaxing. Quiet area to stay and so close to shops and LP.

Great weekend.

It was easy to find and on clear days we had a great view of the high peaks from the back deck. I was a great proximity to the whiteface club where we sidestepped some showers during the round. It was a bit out on the edge of town but I prefer the quiet to the sometimes crowded village scene. We had a great stay.

Perfect retreat in the trees!

What a wonderful stay we had at this quintessential Lake Placid cabin! The house has all of the needed amenities in order to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and mountain views. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Five stars!

Brush your stresses off…

Really amazing place. Need a reset from the stress of everyday life, this is the place for you. Ski, hike, sled (and luge), skate, bike, swim and whatever else nature provides. Turn the TV off, set up the away message, and get outside. Plenty of board games for family fun if you can resist turning back on the noise.

Ski trip

The place was perfect for 5 adult men to use as base camp to ski. The house was perfectly outfitted and was exactly as described. Everything functioned as outlined in the description, the house was clean, warm, and smartly laid out for guests. Only gripe was the low level of dishwasher detergent. As well, the location was great; close to town, supermarket, and short drive to mountain. We hope to come again.

Private tree house

The “Tree House” was in a fabulous location, convenient to Olympic sites, John Brown’s farm, breweries and shops, while affording privacy away from the bustle of the village. The kitchen was very well-stocked, important to 5 “mature” girlfriends who like to cook at home. The host responded quickly to questions and issues. A few long-term issues need to be taken care of and the host has already assured me they will be addressed. Outside, the decks, gutters, and grill needed attention. Inside, the ice maker, dining chairs, and blinds should be upgraded. Certainly not the host’s fault but we were there during a heat wave and the ceiling fans upstairs were inadequate, although the downstairs stayed cool. Finally, the game room picture showed a foosball table which was missing and the listing included “hot tub/ spa” which was not there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and outside of the heat it was a very positive experience in Lake Placid.
