Loved the smile that greeted me

It was a last-minute decision to stop and stay there. The lady at the desk was friendly smiling did everything she could to make my stay better I get this place two thumbs way up. I’ve stayed here before and I will stay there again 100%.

While this is an older facility, it is well kept, clean, the room was plenty big enough. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant.

No hot water. Ice machine didnt have ice. Construction debris laying around. Looked messy. Would not have stayed if we hadnt had reservations. Room itself was clean and nice. But outside wasnt.

The stay was fine, room was clean, it could use some maintenance as far as paint on trim and doors. The bed was comfortable. They could use better towels - they were a little thin. Walking distance to restaurant - for breakfast and lunch.

Good place to rest.

No frills, just a comfortable bed to sleep and a shower in the morning. TV, fridge, microwave and WiFi all good. This is my third stay here. The only problem I encountered was the electronic key and the sticky door. Had to push hard.

Great Value, Clean, Will Stay again

This is considered a 2 star motel and it is older, but new paint, floorint etc. Our star rating is with this in mind, very good overall for it's class. It was very clean and a great place to stop while traveling. We have stayed in 3 and 4 star motels that were really not any better. Good restaruant for breakfast just across the street, with an excelent vegie omlett. Great value, and pet friendly. Will stay there again next time we come through Lakeview.

Dated, but clean and hospitable.

This hotel is dated, yes, but extremely clean and pleasant. The ownership is taking obvious pride in their property, as their efforts were on display through repairs in-progress. The room was clean and nice, bathroom was also, but this is where the dated aspect came into play. Props to the hospitality and kindness displayed through the amazing lady who greeted me when I arrived. Overall; may not be a chain hotel, but after looking at the others in town I felt it was the best choice and would stay here again.

Check-in was easy and efficient. Desk clerk was pleasant and nice. We had 2 one-night stays about a week apart. The first room had a power issue that was quickly fixed by resetting the breaker. The rest of this stay was fine. The second room was on the ground floor and looked like it had been recently refreshed and painted. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. In the morning, we had the door open as we prepared to leave. Don't know if something snuck in while the door was open (hope so), but while we were in the room, something ran from under the dresser to under the bed... we reported the issue to the desk clerk. As we were leaving, they were coming to the room to check and resolve. Having encountered this, we would not choose to stay in a ground floor room again. We understand this is a rural area, but the incident was unsettling.

Not many options around so came here. Exhausted from a long day and night of driving. Got into the room only to find stains all over the sheets - blood, dog paws and gosh knows what. I was shamed and disgusted to have to stay there with my family. We used towels to lay on the sheets, my husband took a shower with his flip-flops on. It was gross. And the staff kept knocking on our door to clean when it was only 9-10am with 11am checkout. TERRIBLE.

The property is old. There is a smell of sulphur in the water. The inside of the toilet bowl was dirty. Not sure if it was scrubbed or the sulphur in the water makes it look dirty. There were cobwebs on the wall. Dust on the picture. I think they need to use bleach on everything. The towels need to be bleached. Even if it’s old it can be cleaned better.
