I had a perfectly nice stay here. While the furniture in the rooms is not brand new and definitely shows signs of use, the people who run this hotel make a real effort to make the rooms comfortable and clean, and their effort shows. Staying here was quiet and peaceful, and the room was very affordable. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband says “good place to rest my head on a hunting trip.” The front desk was really kind and stayed late to greet him even though he was coming in after reception hours. Clean. No frills. Would stay again.

Unfortunately our room and bed was absolutely covered in dog hair. The bottom of the sheets were incredibly dirty from another person's stay, and were obviously unwashed in between. Great folks at the check in, no complaints there.

I was disappointed with my entire experience at this hotel. The property was not well cared for: trash in the parking lot and broken glass directly in front of our door. It seemed like I was asking for something unusual when I requested a second room key.

For an inexpensive motel, this was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not mentioned in other reviews, there was a coffee maker and small refrigerator. The only dissappointment is the town had no stores or taverns open at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon except the American Legion which we did not have our membership cards with us. So, we had a great dinner at the corner Mexican resturant which seemed to be a town favorite. Our waitress was delightful ! Would stay there again.

Poor staff kept complaining about having to work too much. Had problems with the key working, and had to get another key made. But other than that, it was a great stay.

I will be contacting expedia today for refund. This motel is located in a small town with undrinkable water. I do feel bad for the locals. But, the hotel never informed us of this. It wasn't until arrival while filling dogs water bowl that we noticed horrible smell and color of tap water. We asked manager about water quality and she said it was bad. When asked for bottled water we were told, Safeway is down the street. Upon further research of water situation, it's potentially hazardous with lead and other toxins! On top of all this, the motel was filthy. Mold around tub, broken glass all over parking lot and garbage piles outside the drive thru area in front pull thru.

They refused to accept the reservation I made with Expedia for $445.40 and charged me $480.10. They said I should seek a refund from Expedia and that Expedia miscalculated their fees and taxes. Please do not pay them any of my Expedia credits and reimburse me $34.70.
