I paid more for a “standard” room with a shared bathroom than a friend did for their king size with an en-suite. People downstairs were smoking weed and smelt really strong. Only had one set of towels and because and I quote “well I’m getting ready to watch the football, so just go into room 2 and take their set” I was hoping to have breakfast but was told a few weeks before that the Kitchen would not be open.

"We came over from Germany and having lived in the NorthEast a few years back we know about living in England. This is a well made up hotel inside a very old (probably listed) building hence has it charming quirks while coming across modern. Room clean, tea&coffee with bikkies on offer, bathroom well ..."
