118. Incredibly dark and dismal. Would have needed lights on at all times. Not a 5 star experience, however when requested we were moved to room 348 which was much better. We weren’t offered a glass of fizz on arrival which very obviously everyone else was. We didn’t use the jacuzzi at all due to the extremely hot weather. Not the fault of the hotel. Reception area, terrace and corridors are beautifully decorated. No air con which we were aware of before we arrived but is needed in a hotel of this calibre. Also no fridge!!!! I found this incredible in a 5 star hotel. It was so hot in the room. A cool drink was a must!! The £12 charge to park your car is a bit of a cheek we felt. We paid £591 for 2 nights with no breakfast. for A hot room with no fridge, granted the price was for the hot tub but as there was no air con in the room we didn’t even take the lid off! A bit expensive for just the decor. Would be lovely in the Winter. I imagine it would be cosy with the hot tub being a great facility. Spa was lovely"
