The owner, Daniel, makes an effort to entertain the guests providing tourist advice plus happy hour, sharing local information. I haven’t seen that in any hotel I have been. Great service.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Edelweiss and we can’t wait to go back! This place is blessed. It is peaceful and has an amazing view of the Jungfrou ! Daniel and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Wonderful hotel, warm and inviting team
We just had an amazing stay at this hotel. The whole team is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Whether it was the arrival where we felt truly welcomed to make ourselves at home, the wonderful hiking recommendations from Thomas (who was always keen to hear about our adventures at the end of the day), the delicious breakfasts and dinners, or the whole team who were friendly, warm and invested in making sure we had a great stay in the region, everything about our stay was excellent. While we expected to fall in love with the majestic Jungfrau region, we never would have expected the warm welcome that the whole team gives to their guests. As soon as we left, we were already talking about when we would be able to return. The restaurant offers a 4 course dinner each night. Do try it - the food is excellent. The hotel is very clean. The beds are on the firm side - which I loved after a long day of hiking. And, it's worth it to get a room with the balconies, to enjoy a nice glass of wine or hot chocolate after a long day of wandering, while watching the ever-changing clouds play around the mountain peaks.

Superb service!! The Edelweiss Team really took care of us, esp. Sarah, Tomas, and Daniel. They were genuinely helpful and friendly, and they made us feel really welcome. We love that they brought in entertainment (pianist). They have amenities in the basement level (we wish we had more time to use them). Dinner was always delicious (make sure you eat there!!) and very reasonably priced. We looked forward to breakfast everyday. Good selection and everything was fresh. Rooms and common areas were very clean. The garden and patio were beautiful and looked so relaxing (again, we wish we had more time to enjoy them). Overall, you feel like family when you stay there. We would definitely come back. Thank you, Edelweiss Team!!
