“Hotel S Bento is your typical larger hotel. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful. We did have dinner in the hotel one night which was quite good but if you are looking for ambiance, it's not at this hotel. The location worked out perfectly with easy access to the National Park which was our primary desire.
I'd stay again but simply be ok with a "hotel" vs. any type of BnB.”

“Complete absence of service or hospitality. I will be asking for a refund.
Service? Nope
Front desk open 3-7pm. 24 hours, 3 different contacts…? Nope. I called no less than 15 times to each of the 3 proffered contact numbers when locked out of my room- no answer or call rejected.
One of the numbers- on the official property literature and signs outside reception- actually said to me: “ I have nothing to do with this hotel. I have no idea why my number is there!”
After an hour of standing out……

“We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners.
Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde.
The local town of Ponte……
