What a find we were really pleased with the hotel, our room was freshly decorated and a great job and the rest of the hotel looked similar. Noticed that they had an area to keep bikes safely stored. Only point there is not much parking but parking is free in the car park near by.

Great location 2 mins from the beach and plenty of parking

I know it’s only a 2 Star hotel. Remember to bring your own soap for washing the only provided one small sachet in our room, there are no pugs in the bath so you can only have a shower in the bath and the push down plug in the small sink is broken so it’s difficult to empty without scrambling about underneath the sink to empty it. The one thing that really upset me was this hotel is just 300meters from Sword Beach where British and commonwealth forces landed on DDay and I sure many people stat at Hotel Canada because of this. there are Union flags all over the area so no excuse to know what it stands for. This hotel has a sign on the door proudly telling visitors they speak French 🇫🇷 English🇮🇸 and Hindi 🇮🇳 I felt quite insulted to see an Icelandic flag against English. I mentioned it they did not seem to care about it and left the sign up. There is plenty of parking available outside the hotel on the side of the road.
