This is one of the top places we've stayed at. The home was very clean and was stocked well (we were not missing anything!) - there were enough towels, linens, etc. The views were amazing, even got to see a couple dear in the early morning when having our morning coffee on the deck. The location is minutes away from Lead downtown with a small grocery store and some coffee shops, burger/pizza places, and shops. It's also about 10 minutes away from Historic Deadwood - lot's to do there! We also enjoyed Spearfish Canyon - we started from the southern part where a lot of the falls and trailheads start - a quick 15/20 minute drive. Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park are about 1.5 - 2 hours away so that was a nice day trip away - made it back for dinner. We have no complaints, which is a first for us!
