"The hotel was in a great spot for the 1940’s weekend. They were understaffed at breakfast and the food wasn’t nice For the price you have to pay. The room was fine but we were charged for an early check in and the room wasn’t ready. Luckily they refunded this cost but the communication seemed a bit slack. "

"Overall this was a good stay, helped by the very helpful and friendly staff and the large, quite comfortable room. Oh, and the evening meal was v. nice on both evenings (if a little pricey)
However .... my room (number 6) had a window that just would not close properly, which was concerning and a bit chilly. Also, the TV reception was virtually non-existant. I did ask, but was given some explanation about work being underway to do something to something on the roof."
