She gets 6 stars for herself!! The room was very clean and the location is fantastic. You can walk out of the back door into the old city. The room was small & a very compact bathroom but the bed was firm & very comfortable, as were the pillows. Room was clean and comfy. Beware they actually charge your credit card for the deposit and it will appear on your credit card bill for payment. If your statement closes, and you pay your card in full to avoid interest charges, you have to cough up a chunk of money. Then, when you check out, they reverse the deposit they charged and charge your card for total amount due. Very weird, annoying and confusing. Walk out the back door and you are in old LECCE. It had a quirky environment, modern amenities, a wonderful breakfast, where you could place an order for the food, wonderful front desk staff. The room was large, clean with a lovely outdoor patio. The best part of the whole hotel was that they had a washing machine in a dryer, which really helped us during our three weeks stay in Italy. Hay que alquilar por 5 euros una toalla abajo. Las almohadas un poco duras e incómodas. La atención de abajo en el counter súper básica, no nos dieron mapa del sitio en ningún momento. Lo que más me gustó- el desayuno espectacular y la atención del único chico que habla español fue estupenda. El fue el más servicial y educado de todos!! Los demás parecen mal humorados. Breakfast was a real highlight - being an Australian to have eggs and avocado on toast!
