We stayed at Le Sorelle for three nights. The apartment is spacious, close to the city centre, and easy to access, with free street parking nearby. However, several areas need improvement.
Personal belongings filled drawers and dressers, making it feel like a private home. Cleanliness fell below the standard expected of paid accommodation.
The mattress was old, worn, and uncomfortable. A topper was offered for an extra fee, but a comfortable bed should be included.
The advertised Wi-Fi was slow and frequently disconnected, making even emails difficult. We were advised to buy a local SIM card, adding an unexpected expense.
The kitchen was poorly equipped and lacked wine glasses. The apartment felt dated, while single-glazed windows let in considerable street noise. Advertised laundry facilities, concierge service, and a reception safe were absent; there was essentially no reception.
The owners replied promptly, but their solutions were not always helpful. We appreciated their providing a spare key when we locked ourselves out. Keypad access would help.
We might return if the mattress, internet, equipment, and maintenance improved. The location and space are strengths, but comfort and amenities should match the listing.
The city is magnificent and worth visiting, although two nights would have been enough for us.
