The room was very nice, much bigger then we thought. Amazing swimming pool with a beautiful garden. The breakfast was great with a sea view

It's worth staying here just for the view. Happily there's more reasons than that though. We spent 3 nights at Lagou Raxi and we all loved it, including my teens. The views from the hotel are spectacular whether you are on your room balcony, eating a meal on the porch or relaxing at the pool. The hotel is like a little oasis. It's 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes walk to a great little town square with a several taverna's. But, perched up on the hill it's so much quieter, calmer and...

Way over accellent. Clean, kind stuff. Everything was perfect.

What a wonderful hotel!!! The hotel was elegant, very clean, very thought out. There wasnt anything missing. There was even a kitchenette an a Nespresso machine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were very comfortable in size. Even the elevator was pretty. Tonia who greeted us and checked us in was just lovely and as quick as you can get to satisfy your needs. In minutes she found a hairdresser one of us needed, she made reservations at a fabuloys local pub/eatery famous for their appetizers...

Had a great time at Afissos Blu Hotel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. Just down the street are a number of tavernas and shops. The little village is quiet and picturesque, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The highlight of our stay was our host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating! We were gifted a jar of homemade honey before we left and felt right at home during our stay. Highly recommended! 5 stars!

Everything was great

Only stayed overnight

Didn't know the market was back down the hill. Would have been nice to know before arriving. Place is very nice with beautiful surroundings

Wonderful place, wonderful hosts, wonderful stay

Great place and fantastic people running it!

Incredible room with balcony ocean view, fireplace and kitchenette!

An enchanting stay in a charming hotel. Very friendly staff, the room was immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend for a lovely mountain stay.

Fabulous stay , very hospitable, Wonderful breakfast with magnificent views - will definitely revisit Thank you for a marvelous stay Patrick

The building is beautiful and for those arriving on the gorgeous old train, it overlooks the terminal station. The restaurant is great, and the outdoor grill smells wonderful. The family that runs it spoke fluent English and were warmly welcoming but left us alone when they realized we aren't chatty. The breakfast (9 euros) was delicious, with homemade apple cake. A beautiful (and not at all wheelchair accessible) stone path leads up the the main square of the village, which has a nice...

This was a beautiful hotel with large comfortable rooms and great amenities. The breakfast was great with a nice selection. We were given an upgrade upon arrival which made it nice traveling with two children. The rooms were very clean and the location was great. This is a great little town with lots of beach front dining and a couple of places to shop. The community is very welcoming to tourists and the food at every restaurant or cafe we tried was great! Would return and recommend.

A truly beautiful and special place. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was so lovely and provided the perfect amount of space for us and our teenage daughter. The hotel was lovely, with real charm and character. We wish we could have spent longer in Portaria!

The hotel and hotel staff were great. Comfortable clean rooms and bathrooms. Only complaint is the location. If you plan on staying here rent a car and be very comfortable driving a stick shift. Portaria is a 30min drive from Volos and 1hr drive to the east coast. There are some restaurants in Portaria but not much else to do in this area.
