Summary:  
Escape the mundane hustle and bustle of city life at Pacific View, Leithfield. The ideal holiday homes NZ retreat is nestled on an elevated flat site with views over the marram grass-covered dunes to the pebbly beach which offers long strolls during the day and small campfires at night.   
  
The best tiny house rentals in Leithfield, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and sunrises over the ocean, as well as the company of our regular campers inside our caravan/camp park.  
  
The Space:  
Pacific View by Tiny Away is located in the North Canterbury town of Leithfield. The Tiny house is in the Leithfield Beach Holiday Park. One of the best tiny house rentals and North Canterbury accommodation options close to Leithfield Beach, Woodend Beach Holiday Park, Waikuku Beach, Pegasus Beach, Weka Pass Railway, and Waipara Hills Winery.   
  
Just a 40-45 min drive to Christchurch attractions such as gondola rides, botanic gardens, galleries, and more. A comfortable 139 square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).  
  
If you plan to spend your holiday homes NZ retreat here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!  
  
Guest Access:  
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence.  
  
Guests will have complete access to the amenities, including the coin-operated laundry, coin-operated showers, cooking equipment, and pizza oven.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Pacific View by Tiny Away is located in the small town of Leithfield, North Canterbury, just a 40-45 min drive to Christchurch. Where you can explore beaches, restaurants, wineries, and attractions. Woodend Beach Holiday Park, Waikuku Beach, and Pegasus Beach are just a few of the nearby beaches from Leithfield—conveniently set in one of the best tiny house rentals in New Zealand.  
  
Christchurch attractions such as gondola rides, botanic gardens, galleries, and restaurants are just a 40-45 min drive away.  
  
Our local recommendations:  
  
\- Leithfield Beach is a tranquil beach perfect for long strolls, light picnics, and surfing as the waves are big.  
\- Waikuku Beach is a popular spot for various activities, featuring a stunning beach, boutique shopping, and excellent facilities. Ideal for beach fun, shopping, walking, cycling, and bird watching.  
\- Weka Pass Railway is a steam and diesel-electric historic locomotive with two stations, Glenmark and Waikari.  
\- Waipara Springs Winery offers the best locally produced wines, wine tasting, and cafe dining experiences in the region.  
\- Leithfield Beach provides comfortable lodging with easy access to a wonderful beer garden in the summer and delicious country pub meals in the winter.  
  
Getting Around:  
We recommend guests to travel by private vehicle as there are no public transports available directly to and from the property.  
  
Other Things to Note:  
\- Mobile reception is good for all NZ telcos  
\- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times  
\- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed  
\- Smoking is allowed outside, but not in the dune area as it is a fire hazard  
\- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival  
\- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge  
  
Important note:  
  
\- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban  
\- Gas BBQ available in front of the camp kitchen all year round, also a gas-fired pizza oven  
\- Dropping cigarette butts on dry grass can start a bushfire. Please put out your cigarettes properly  
\- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

The images are misrepresenting.This cabin itself looked fine but it is in a run down park sitting on wheels on a gravel mound - completely exposed / no privacy and the neighbouring vans are in disrepair. It is surrounding by scrub and next to a huge drain that runs out into the ocean. As a 60 year old woman travelling alone I drove to the park and felt very unsafe and isolated. I returned my keys and found alternate accommodation. The woman at the park store made totally inappropriate comments s about neighbouring van owners when I expressed my concern. Luckily I was refunded after a lot of communication and inconvenience.

#### Great stay at Leithfield Beach

This tiny house was perfect for our short stay on a long trip from Nelson to MT Cook. The beach, just a short walk down the path, was incredible. The house had a comfortable bed and bathroom, and the sound of waves lulled us to sleep.

Listening to nature and the beach made this a really enjoyable stay. Tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet,and the closest unit to access the beach. Excellent 😊
