“This was a weird hotel. Seems like it was a motel or hostel at one point. Not at all the usual standard of van der valk. Our family room smelt of drains, the food was terrible and it's in the middle of nowhere.”

“The wood-fired hot tub and fire pit was a highlight of our stay that was worth the money! The electric blankets were a welcome (and needed!) bonus for our October stay in the Jubi tent. The view in the morning, lighting, design, and other accommodations and facilities on site were great! The staff were helpful and answered all of our questions. “The location is close to Downtown, Groningen. The room style is quite old and the furniture is also quite old. There was only one window facing the chimney. When the window is open, flies often got in. No lift nor air conditioning. While the temperature was up to over 26, we could only rely on a noisy electric fan. The merits about the room were that the bathroom was spacious and cozy and breakfast was great. ”

“It was quite far away from Groningen train station (around 25 mins walk), but the bus service was convenient. The room was clean. However, the toilet lid was broken and couldn't be fixed despite the front desk was informed. As compensation, I was offered complimentary breakfast which offered a wide variety of food and drink options.”

“Muffige kamer. Balkondeur gaf iets verkoeling maar de zoemende ventilator kokers op t dak maakten te veel herrie. Vieze vloerbedekking in de gangen. Kapot zeeppompje in de douche. Bedden en kussens waren veel te zacht naar mijn smaak.”

“Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een kort verblijf. We misten een airco want het was er bloedheet. En een steviger matras zou ook helpen. Wat rumoer van autoverkeer maar dat zakt weg tegen de nacht. Neem oordopjes mee.”
