Clean room. Decent enough for an airport stopover

Great spot, close to train and old town, lots of surrounding city life. They gave us a free bus pass. Church bells and a park across the street. Small balcony with a nice view. Wish they had AC, but the fan with open windows worked well. Funny staff and a nice croissant breakfast. Great value.

Absolutely horrible experiences. Shame on Expedia for having this rated as a 4star! It’s an old dumpy hotel. There is an air conditioner that doesn’t work in the room…. But it was the smell of sewage that caused my wife and I to leave after getting there. Because it was booked through Expedia I couldn’t get the money back from the hotel. My wife and I left after being there for only a couple of hours. $1700 wasted for a three night visit. Expedia this is a 1 star hotel… and that’s being generous!!!!

The hotel is very old but it has a great location. The rooms are small but it sits within walking distance of Lake Geneva (you can take a plunge in it!) and it is only a block away from Public transportation. The Air conditioning works! And the shower has great water pressure, we tried to lengthen our stay but it is booked solid. So plan ahead in advanced while making reservations. It is a very coveted area. The elevator is very small but it works. The breakfast selection was limited but the staff was super friendly and they will offer you endless cappuccino refills! We will definitely stay here again!

The gentleman at reception is gruff and needs to be more friendly and understanding with his weary guests as he seemed more interested in his phone. The hotel itself is simple and the decor deliberately so, with ex army cupboards etc in our room while the restaurant is dismally decorated. Breakfast is basic.
