"Everything about this property is lovely. It is nicely decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. We were visiting family and didn't have to cook any meals, but the kitchen is well equipped. We will have to come again when the weather is warmer to use the pool and enjoy the garden. "The views are truly amazing and all the stars at night are an extra bonus. Sadly it’s still a fair walk on an uneven path and then a stair without a handrail up to the gîte. Taking shopping up is also quite a challenge."

Le bémol concerne le chalet où visiblement le mois de mai n'est pas adapté pour y séjourner car la veille de notre arrivée, on nous a indiqué qu'il faisait trop froid pour mettre en marche le jacuzzi et une fois sur place, on nous dit qu'il fait trop chaud pour allumer la cheminée. "We really enjoyed our stay here. In main because the pool area and pool house / kitchen are so nice. Very friendly and helpful host. The house is large and a little tired but the pool area made up for it. Some money needs to be spent in certain areas but I would definitely come back. Lots of history and an incredible vista from the pool. "

"Arrived on Sunday to find that no restaurant/chef available. We did not know this and could have been a problem had we not been able to get a curry delivered! The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished. Very nice people and a stunning setting. We all had individual rooms/fires that were well prepared and provided the rest that was needed."
