I have friends in Charlottesville and Lexington has been a good place to meet since my family lives in Blacksburg. I will gladly stay again for 1-2 nights. I have a dog and the road was nice to walk on (not very busy). All of the following things were clear in the description and photos but I missed a low comfortable table to eat at or sit at to work on the computer and I missed a TV - I know that makes me old :) The walls are slanted. I am 5’ 5” tall and hit my head several times. When I stay longer in VRBOs, I like to be able to cook. Because this is a studio apartment, there is no stove or oven. I intend for these comments to be a clarification not a criticism. I am appreciative of reviews that help me decide if a particular rental is a good fit for me. It was exactly as described, nice and quiet, clean and had just what we needed, mostly a place to sleep (comfy bed to note). It did have some other thoughtful touches, snacks, coffee and fresh creamer, filtered water, small fridge. Host was very responsive and friendly. I love the decor, and the bed sleeps great. Lots of little extras to make you feel at home. I was in town for a show at the Virginia Horse Center and didn't want to stay in one of the busy hotels. This space is about ten minutes away and I had a wonderful night's rest. Plus it is on a lovely horse farm.
