"We were made to feel welcome. at Ocean Oasis Hotel. The room was clean, everything worked well, especially the wifi. The pool was clean and the meals were terrific. Walking 25 minutes down the beach were a number of good restaurants. This is a terrific place to relax and wind down. The perfect antidote to the mega resort."

"Nice location, somewhat outside of town but with free parking; nice pool, with great view of the beach. The "free" breakfast feels to me more like a check mark feature for the search filters rather than a real enjoyable breakfast so I skipped it almost every day. The whole place is built on sand so be aware you have to be comfortable with sand everywhere, but if that's your jam it's quite unique "

"I stayed at Notto for my birthday on February 13, and my experience was positive at first. The room and stay itself were good, but unfortunately everything went downhill when I checked out.
I was told there would be a 4,000 peso hold on my card for incidentals. Instead of placing a hold, they actually charged my card. It has now been almost three weeks, and the hotel has still not been able to reverse the charge.
What’s even more concerning is that they asked me to send my bank account...

"This was the most incredibly beautiful and romantic place to stay in Puerto Escondido!
