Loved opening the patio door to the beautiful, enormous ocean !!!! Thank you to the desk staff for getting up at 2am to let us in. And even with a smile! As we are coffee lovers, the coffee provided was super!

We really did like the proximity to the beach and local establishments. We were disapointed in the overall somewhat trashy feel to the property. Rooms in online broucher seemed to to have been photographed somewhere else. Had we known we would have roomed else where. It just wasn't our cup of authenticity!

Great location, however that’s the only good thing about this place. We were in a King ocean view room and I was close to leaving. Luckily it was only for one night. The place was super outdated and smelled. The ceiling is low, the linens and towels stained, and the room next to ours was only separated by a closet door. We could clearly hear what channel they were watching and they brought a dog and a small child so it was a noisy night. The door has no eye hole to see who’s at the door, and there’s no dead bolt. The way in is by a transitional key, and there’s not an additional way to lock the door. The outlets were also iffy. Some were too lose and our plug ins fell right out, and others didn’t work. It was a cheap stay for a winter weekday night on the beach, but I won’t be staying here again.

The view and beach access are amazing! That’s pretty much where the good news ends. They’re renovating, but this place needs a complete overhaul; an investor to come in and take it down to the studs. Water coming up through the drain in the shower when turning on the bathroom sink. When the water is running in the bathroom sink, there’s a super loud noise through the pipes and the Fossett itself. Seems like it’s going to come apart. Lots of flies in the room when we got in. We wiped everything down before we touched anything and I slept on top of the covers using the blanket I brought for the dog. We only stayed one night per our reservation so we were in and out in less than 24 hours which I probably would have left early if we had more than one day. The lady in the office was nice and seem to be handling things but it’s not a place I would recommend anyone that I know stay. Review and the location are great though!

Probably the dirtiest room ive ever stayed in. Everything was dated, old and falling apart... I wont be returning until renovations are complete and that room has been gutted.
