"I made a mistake and assumed the hotel was convenient and close to the Kongress Center. It is as far away from the center city as you can get without being out of the town. 40 euros to take a taxi to this hotel. If you want to save money take a bus - we got used to the bus which takes a half hour or more not including wait times to go anywhere. The sauna was out of order when we were there. The bar - only three or four beers and one of those was alchohol free. Unlike other Mecure hotels...
"Only stayed for one night but the room was clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was reasonable for the cost."

Art Hotel Weimar"Cute little hotel very near the center of town. Tiny parking lot, but if others park considerately it's enough room (a little challenging when people spread out and take up numerous spots). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Honestly, we were exhausted from just having arrived in Europe and then driving 4 hours, so we don't remember everything! I know we all slept well (enough for the first night after jet lag). I'd book the hotel again if in the area. "

Konsumhotel Dorotheenhof Weimar"Due to the slope of the roof the shower head was only about 3 feet high but they quickly moved us to a better room. The new room was great but sloped ceiling was still there. The breakfast was fantastic and free, the area has so many quiet areas to sit and relax with a cornfield on one side and a vineyard on the other. A small town with a large grocery store is a short walk away. Lots of parking on site but it does have a fee. The only downside was the supper buffet that we had for a ridiculous...
