Great places to stay with good amenities and close to grandfather Mountain

All was well. The walls are thin, so you can clearly hear conversations/TV of neighbors.

I picked this place on a whim for a last minute hiking getaway. It came down to this or a house. I am so glad we picked this place. We spent every morning out hiking and then we spent every afternoon at the rec center playing mini golf, ropes course, arcade games, playing checkers or Jenga, or in the pool. Most of the amenities were included and the few that had an extra cost were reasonable. My kids easily found other kids to play with at the pool. We ate at The Library on site (get reservations unlike us if you want to eat outside) which had great food. We ate breakfast and lunch in the unit sitting on the patio and it was so peaceful and quiet. I know other units had families too but we never heard them. My husband even bought a started log to use the fire place. Management company was very responsive when we had an issue with a bathroom and had maintenance out to fix it very quickly. I would highly recommend it especially for families.

My room was very cozy and was impeccably clean. The location is ideal, just a short walk from downtown Asheville's shops and restaurants. Breakfast featured delicious, locally sourced ingredients.
