In sum, perfectly located boutique hotel with friendly staff, but very overpriced and far from a 5-star stay, as advertised.
Pros:
- Location is top-tier!
- rooftop terrace and outdoor seating areas were great
- Friendly staff
- breakfast was varied each day and coffee and cookies were available in the afternoons, which was a nice touch
To take into consideration:
-outdated and would benefit from a furniture refresh
- smaller rooms have no tables, so not ideal if you have to work
- be aware that fridges are turned off and need to be manually turned on
- very noisy and lack of privacy on ground-level rooms
- there was an ant problem during my stay, which is not expected with 450$+/night rates. I received no response when reaching out for compensation
