They are remodeling the building, painting & doing some kind of constructions. Jacuzzi was close & parking and some commun areas were dirty due the construcion. Staff was very helpful.

Rooms are very clean stuff very helpful concierge did answer every question but the hotel was overpriced. There was a problem with elevator every single day of our stay we missed to dinner reservation because of elevator. There was incident. One of the guests stuck in the elevator over two hours. It was panic with having seniors with us, and there is no stairs to use in instead of elevator. !!!!

Hotel conditions and surrounding area were not family friendly. Lots of drug use/homeless on stairwell and etc. We did not feel safe enough to check in. Refunds were not offered so we just took it as a loss.

Very unsafe property. Homeless people all around, prostitutes around 1/2 dressed. Not suitable for a family stay! The rooms are ok. Door barely closed and didn’t seem safe either. We didn’t even stay ended up cancelling and renting a last minute hotel instead!! Would NEVER book again. The front desk clerk was so rude and we had to fight for a refund. He claimed it’s okay no one bothers you but we had stranger men coming up to our kids and harassing us. Would not recommend. 0/10. Pictures are deceiving and the property looks nothing like the photos. Very run down, smells awful, and renovations that haven’t been completed, as well as the elevator smells of urine. Pay the extra for a better hotel. This is not worth it.

I had a great stay at Rancho San Diego Inn & Suites. The property was recently renovated but the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staffs were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Great value for the price, and would be back if I'm in the area again!

I can’t put in words of how dirty this place was. Floor was full of dirt, hair, and dead bugs. The bed had stains. Bathtub had so much hair, the toilet still had poop in it. I opened the TV table door… and the amount of live cockroaches was insane. I left after 15 minutes and requested a refund.
