"So the main problem was that the portion of the villa you get is the lower ground level underneath the owner’s private quarters. It felt quite claustrophobic. The other main issue was that the pool is up steep steps to the upper level and is overlooked by the owner. From the photographs on HomeAway you think you are getting a portion of the villa that overlooks the pool/sea. You don’t realise that you will be below stairs with no view.
