“Very special experience to stay here although it's in the mountain. Not easy to get a cab. Food is nice cooked by handsome guy and there is a lovely puppy 🐶 . Will consider to visit again.”

“Countryside cozy hotel, comfort to stay but the beds are a bit small and no double bed to choose.”

“Although I was expecting a feature room with the four poster bed, the allocated room wasn’t bad and big enough for my family. Unfortunately, the welcome and interaction from the manager on duty when we arrived after a wedding nearby wasn’t the greatest. We had checked prior about check in times and were told it was 24 hours, so wasn’t expecting the resistance we got when we arrived. We told the manager on duty we were guests and needed to check in - he seemed rather confused and defensive about……

“There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?”

“Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.”
