The room was just beautiful! Renee, Jermaine and Ryan were so wonderful and willing to do anything to make our stay the best.

We had a great time at Riu and would definitely go back. The food was amazing, especially the buffets, which are available for all meals. I would easily give the buffet dining 5 stars. The beach was a highlight for us. It was beautiful and easy to access directly from the hotel. We even enjoyed walking along the beach outside the property, which was a nice bonus. The gym was good and the coffee bar was very convenient, although it doesn’t open until 10am which is quite late. We personally didn’t spend time at the pool as it felt crowded and a bit overwhelming, but the beach more than made up for it. The rooms felt a little outdated, but the quality of the food and the beach experience really made the stay for us. Overall, we would absolutely return based on those things alone.

Restaurants Katsuya , Leola , Cleo, Marcus and Carna had excellent food and exceptional service. Unfortunately,Sugar Factory and 25 North had terrible service and food. Rooms used to have a fully stocked bar fridge and bottled water. Now they don’t and only have refillable water bottles to fill to fill with tap water that doesn’t taste good. The rooms were cleaned for the first few days and then were not. We’ve stayed at this resort many times but it seems that some areas have declined. Not sure if we would go back .

Room was clean, the staff was accommodating and as very helpful. There was a variety of activities that were included at no extra charge to the resort. We ended up signing up for the membership and definitely can’t wait to return.

Beautiful resort, beach chairs broken and hard to get so you have to come early in the morning to get chair with umbrella. Room service was good, got towels every day, room was clean.
