“No check in information received, when I contacted the host was told ‘it’s not hard it’s left unlocked’ during our stay the host walked past us several times to feed the llamas head down, didn’t even say hello, text to ask how to use the gas fire during our stay and no response, was made to feel very unwelcome. “Owner met us at the property , she is so friendly and helpful. She gave us ideas where to go and lives nearby if you do need anything. Easter cakes and chocolate had been left for us together with milk for that first all important cuppa. The cottage was immaculately clean Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and hot water Beautiful setting in a small village with a homely pub across the road that does great food ”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to……
