"There is no reception and no actual key given, just a link to a website where you remotely unlock the door - which only works on one phone. This is very inconvenient and you are depending on that one phone and internet connection to get in the property and the room. Whilst the room itself was great, and the staff from the restaurant downstairs are very kind and helpful, there should be an actual reception and key to each door. "

"This is a fantastic friendly hotel, location is ideal for train station. Rooms have air conditioning, breakfast is wonderful, croissants, eggs, bread and cheese. Cereals juice and coffee. Absolutely perfect for our short stay. I doubt you will find a nicer welcome. "

"Our check-in was fantastic as we were provided some options for things to do and sights to see. The hotel is conveniently located in a cute square with multiple restaurants and the hotel’s restaurant has fabulous Mushroom risotto and Aperol Spritz. "

"Just loved this place!! Very classy and well organized/runned! Beautiful! They thought of everything! The place is adorable. The room was great and overlooked the pool. We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. They gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and some snacks when we arrived. The room was stocked with a little refridge and everything was complimentary in it except for the liquor. There were 2 apples and a muffin and some cookies on the little table in your room. They supply robes/slippers, shampoo and conditioner, dryer for you. Not many places in Switzerland give you toiletries in the room (we stayed at many places too). The pool is heated and very clean. This place was the best. Walkable to the water and little town (old town), Restaurants. Staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff works very hard. They also give you a pass coupon that allows you free transportation/buses/trains in that area. Most places do; you just have to ask for it. Places close early. A good 20 minutes walk to the town along the water."

"This hotel was very nice for our stay on Lake Maggiore. The room was small but clean and modern. Having a balcony was a plus, as was the delightful breakfast. The hosts gave us good info about driving up into the Versazsca and Maggi valleys. The stone roofed and walled buldings in the isolated villages are a must see. It was a short walk to the lakefront for dinner and a little casino time. Good location. We'd stay here again! "

"Room was very clean. Hotel interior was very impressive a beautiful marble staircase. The reason I scored a little low was was the exterior of the hotel definitely need some maintenance. It is really showing its age. I couldn't really comment positively on the staff because there wasn't any. This is due to this being a unique hotel and having an electronic booking system where there is no reception but you do everything online. And this also includes getting your barcode for your hotel room. This was unique and actually quite useful. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially at the price that they were offering such a great room. I would definitely stay here again"

"I don't think any of the pictures in the listing were actually of the room we were given -- all of the others looked bigger, nicer, and cleaner. Our room was of sufficient size and amenities, just did not look nearly as nice and was not very clean (there was gum on the wall as you entered). Also, the wifi was too weak to use. Apps would open but could not be used, could not navigate in browsers, and could not use messaging apps (and since the store where we checked in was never open while we were there, we had no way to contact the property since our messaging apps would not work)."

"Very convenient to downtown Locarno. Staff very helpful! Breakfast excellent! Parking was tough! Very tight access and spaces. Laundry turned out to be one washer and one dryer in the basement. We had chosen the hotel specifically to be able to catch up on laundry. We thought there was a washer/dryer in each unit. It worked out ok, but we were lucky, as this turns out to be a tour hotel with many large groups. We will stay again, just understand the constraints better. "
