“We had a great stay”

“The room has potential. Much about the room was fine. Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. ”

The location was excellent in the heart of Lake Bohinj territory (easy day trip to Bled from there) with so much beauty and things to explore within walking/biking distance. The hotel itself was impeccable...from the friendly and helpful wait staff, gorgeously furnished rooms, fantastic restaurant and bar with wonderful food and desserts, a great spa with excellent services to choose from, and very thoughtful and eco conscious design. “Very centrally located in the town of Bovec. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean breakfast and dinner were good. We enjoyed our stay just be aware that in the spring they do not have air-conditioning available only in the summertime however it was not necessary as the temperatures were quite cool at night with the windows open. ”

“They provided an infant bed that was spacious enough for our 2-year-old, which was very helpful. The view from our room overlooking the lake and mountains was absolutely stunning. There was also a sauna in the basement, although it wasn’t mentioned at check-in. Breakfast was served as a buffet with a great selection of ham, cheese, and fresh fruit, even though there were only two groups staying. Coffee and fried eggs were prepared upon request. “This is a beautiful hotel, I highly recommend staying here. The decor in all of the common areas such as the lobby and the breakfast rooms, as well as the private hotel rooms, are wonderful! The views from the back patio are spectacular! The staff/hosts are so friendly. Wonderful experience!”
