Outststanding Chateau in the heart of Vendee

We have been 'Chateau' travelers for 42 years. I cannot count the number of establishments visited. Ch Goujonnerie is 'THE' most charming Chateau we have had the priviledge to stay. It was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye after 5 nights. Isabella, Natalie AND Stephen and Michel were the most charming hosts. We will never forget their care to guests. We look forward to returning again and is a great place for a base camp if you want to visit La Rochell or Il de Re or so many other places along the sea and throughout Vendee. They also offer Gites that some may prefer.

Beautiful location !

This was a 1 night stop over on a drive through France. Lovely Chateau, off the beaten track. Pool available. French breckfast included. Lots of quirky decorations and 2 lovely english setters about !

We had a wonderful stay at this incredible property. Stefan and the ladies were absolutely lovely. It's not often one gets to stay at such a stunningly beautiful property. If you're thinking of staying here, don't even hesitate.

Fantastisk, vackert slott med en svensk värd. Otroligt vackert inrett med massor av vacker konst. Bra frukost, skön säng och vår hund var lycklig som fick springa fritt i den stor slotts trädgården.

Dormir, beber y nadar en un museo!

Este castillo es impresionanate, sobre todo por su eclectica coleccion de arte juntando de manera impecable lo kitsch con antiguedades, abstracto con clasico. El desayuno excelente en compañia con los demas invitados. El anfitrion, un sueco dueno de una galeria de arte en Londres, super enrollado. Y la piscina exterior climatizada se puede usar a cualquier hora del dia, ... y de la noche! Y encima te pudes preparar un combinado, un vino o una cerveza en la cocina (y llevartelo a la psicina). Al final pagas la voluntad sobre lo que has bebido, fantastico!! La venecia verde esta a tan solo 30 miutos, y varios pueblos interesantes, con restaurantes, a menos de 15``. Volveremos seguro cuando pasemos por aqui.

Très agréable expérience

Très agréable expérience pour un séjour d'une nuit avec ma chienne qui a grandement apprécié le très beau parc du domaine. J'ai reçu un très bon accueil et aimé la décoration très soignée des belles pièces du château: un plaisir des yeux!

Il s'agissait d'une nuit d'étape lors d'un voyage vers le Mont Saint MIchel. Le château est merveilleux, un vrai plaisir des yeux, confortable et luxueux. Nous avons adoré.

Fabuleux !

Un séjour de rêve. Stéphan nous a parfaitement accueillis, julie nous a préparé un petit-déjeuner magnifique. Le château est incroyable : rénové dans les règles de l art, des antiquités meubles et décorations inoubliables, chambre au château avec douche dans la tour ! Tout était parfait, nous avons eu l impression d être chez nous , ayant la liberté d aller et venir, pour ce moment hors du temps, nous reviendrons !
