Valentines Park - upper lake Looking at the false bridge by the entrance to Valentines Park near Gants Hill, from the first bridge over the lake.
Cranbrook: Valentines Park clock tower This view was taken looking across the boating lake in Valentines Park towards the clock tower, which was built in 1899 on the opening of the park. A plaque on the clock tower commemorates that it was presented by W. P. Griggs Esq. At its opening the park was known as Cranbrook Park, as witnessed by the plaque, but the name was changed in 1907 to register its association with the nearby Valentines Mansion.

Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the ac in our room did not work and it was very hot in the room, woke up in the night and the room was 24c. The hotel seems quite run down and a little freshen up would be great.

Staff great, check in great, location great. The room was good but just lacked anywhere to put anything. No sideboards, bedside table so had to put everything on the floor. Bathroom was the same. No where to put anything.
