The surrounding area is steeped in history, once home to notable houses around Tredegar Square, giving Bow Road its unique heritage. Today, the location offers excellent transport connections and easy access to Victoria Park, Regent’s Canal, local lakes, and Stratford, the City, and Canary Wharf.

Just a short stroll away, The Coborn is a beautifully restored Young’s pub serving classic British dishes, Sunday roasts, and craft ales in a relaxed setting. Another excellent local choice is The Morgan Arms, known for its cosy interior, friendly staff, and refined pub menu.
A few minutes’ walk takes you to The Green Goose, a stylish gastropub with a leafy beer garden — perfect for evening drinks or weekend lunches. If you fancy something historic, The Lord Tredegar offers hearty food and a charming old-London atmosphere, while The Crown on the edge of Victoria Park pairs pub classics with a bright, family-friendly vibe.

Stansted airport bus stops opposite Mile End station (5 min walk) which provides easy access to Stansted Airport.
