Old metal barn, redeemed and converted into an astonishing custom interior. The natural smell of raw Cedar, Spruce, and Oak are all you need to relax and drift into another world. Enjoy the deer, birds and nature around you. Private gate. This upstairs loft gives you an amazing view 20 feet above the property to best enjoy the beautiful sunrises.
Note: There are 26 metal steps leading up to the cabin. This may be challenging to some seniors, small children & pets.

Peaceful place to stay

It was very good. Quiet and peaceful. Enough parking for my 2 trucks and utility trailers. Beautiful patio. We will book again when we head back to Longview for work.

Longview in June

We came to Longview for weekend to see the balloon race. Our stay was so peaceful in the woods at the Hayloft. Close to town and easy to access from highway. Very comfortable and quiet. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the property. There is a climb with the stairs that can be a little difficult for some. Bring own amenities like bath soap and shampoo, everything else is there.

Great place!

My husband and I loved everything about the Hay Loft. It was a lovely place to stay for the holiday, as we celebrated with nearby family. It was decorated for Christmas, my favorite holiday. Each night, as we returned from visiting with family, we enjoyed playing cards together. There are many board games available, too, which is a nice touch.

Perfect Hideaway

Loved everything about the Haybarn. Beautiful view, wrap around porch and the inside was very cozy. My wife wants me to build one just like it!!!!

Great relaxing getaway!

Such a cute place!! We spent my husbands 40th birthday here, bbqing, fishing at the pond, catching frogs and just enjoying the outdoors. Saw some wildlife -beautiful birds and even a deer! We’re a family of 4 and brought our dogs. Even they had a great time enjoying the serene area and listening to wildlife.

Loving the hay loft

We had a great time at the Hayloft. Roasted marshmallows hung out by the fire pit took walks loved the comfort and great amenities. Cooked our Thanksgiving dinner on site and it turned out great highly recommend the Hay Loft

Get A Way @ the Hay Loft

We had a wonderful time at the Hay Loft in Longview, TX. Very nicely decorated, clean, plenty of space. The covered patio/balcony was awesome. We watched deer and rabbits, & squirrels from the patio area. We would got back and stay this next week if we could.

The Barn

Really enjoy our stay! It was nice, quiet, and tucked away with still being a close distance to a bigger city. Brought our two dogs along for a dog show and we got out in the yard and threw their rope around. It was a very very big yard!! We all enjoyed it and the host was great with the communication we had.

Great home, very peaceful

The Hayloft

The Hayloft was beautiful. Loved the patio and dogs loved running around the property. We were at an event in Longview and sadly didn’t get to spend a lot of time there but would definitely go back when I have some more time to take advantage of this wonderful property.

Quick weekend visit

We came into Longview for the dog show & found the Hayloft when trying to find somewhere good for our kids & with plenty of space for the dogs to run. Everything in the loft was clean, easy to find, and organized. The outside was absolutely wonderful and my kids loved getting to grill out hotdogs & s’mores our last night. I highly recommend it as not only a place to stay in Longview, but as an actual destination. I only wish we had had more time to explore the property & check out the pond.

Beautiful property

We had a excellent experience at The Hay Loft. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. Easy check in and check out. My dogs loved all the room to run around and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. If you are unable to stairs i would not recommend as they have steep stairs going up to the loft. The shower pressure was not great but expected as it is on well water. But overall great place to stay and Cheryl the host was great. Will definitely visit again.

State Championship

We were in town to perform at a State Championship at the Hallsville High School and wanted to stay locally nearby. The Hayloft was 7 minutes away, perfect location. Loved the location, property and the owner’s communication. It took 4 trips up and down the stairs to get everything unloaded, and wished that the on-site electric hoist would have been offered to us to get our luggage and groceries up to the second story facility which is only accessible by a exterior flight of stairs to check in and check out. Other wise this was such a FUN place to chill after we were done for the day, to enjoy our Win and Family conversations and Movies.

Pretty Property

This old barn was very comfortable. Towels and sheets were clean and very nice. Overall clean. The sofa could use a good shampoo. I always use my own sheet to cover sofas. It was an inexpensive place to stay for the total solar eclipse one hour away. We were lucky to find it available. The property was very quiet except when a train would pass near by all night long. I didn’t know a train was near by. Overall our two night stay was fine for us. I would recommend a stay here. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your pride a joy.

Easy to find and we’re new to the area. This place is so very peaceful and relaxing. We’re older, so the stairs, we knew would be a lot. There are steep and I believe 24 steps. Thankful the handrails helped a lot. The views from any and every angle are just beautiful. A/C works great. Cable, internet and communication were great. Bed was comfy. Our main complaint was pulling duty dish, flatware and glasses/cups from the cabinets (with mice feces)…. We had to wash more than we used just to be safe. By previous guests, had to be the only answer, left completely dirty dishes with food stuck on, in the cabinets. Or else the dishwasher is truly bad. Stuff was dirty and I understand we pay a cleaning fee, but cleaning is not a priority. The shower curtain needs a good wash with bleach, it’s pretty stained from various sources. I washed towels and left bleach behind for the next persons, or cleaners. Orders were very nice and they were informed about the dishes and grime. Fridge/microwave also needed cleaned. They apologized and I’m sure they don’t want a negative review and they aren’t getting one. We enjoyed our stay here. It’s serene and beautiful and a true relaxing getaway. Paper plates, disposable utility flat wear and cups would be great to have handy. Make things easier for everyone.
