If you have respiratory problems, don't go. There was mold on the two red chairs. No doubt the mold was also on every fabric in there. Now, I am very sick with runny nose. I was told that I could leave before 3 :00 THAT DAY or move upstairs (A lot of steep stairs)or get a refund. There was a kitten "body" greeting me upon arrival and several cats still alive upon the property. The person that checked me in was "one of her renters" and seemed quite put out by having to deal with me. Owner was not there. Yamacraw Beach is not good at dawn or dusk (Biting flies-a lot of them)AND is not easy to find. No signage and grossly littered😢 Luckily, I brought citronella roll-on because I was walking. I really loved having the pool to myself and the response of owner. Overall, an absolute NO on this property

We had a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Adults Only Bahamas, and the biggest highlight was definitely the beach. It was absolutely outstanding! We spent practically the entire day on the beach because it was so beautiful. We didn’t even have time to enjoy the infinity pool because the beach was simply too amazing. The hotel itself is nice overall, but it definitely needs some renovation. The bathrooms, in particular, feel outdated, and some of the fixtures and amenities look old and cheap. For a hotel of this category, I expected a more modern and upscale finish. The food at the buffet was surprisingly much better than the food at the à la carte restaurants, which was a little disappointing. The evening entertainment was fantastic! The shows were amazing, and the dance performers were truly excellent, very talented, and professional. I would have loved to see more entertainment after the shows, as the evenings could be even better with a livelier atmosphere. The only other thing I would change is the DJ’s music selection. The music should appeal to a wider audience rather than focusing so heavily on rap, which only seemed to get certain people dancing. A more diverse mix of music would make the experience much more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, the shows were excellent, and the hotel has a lot going for it. With some renovat

All rooms even club member rooms are outdated and in poor condition. Dirty shower, chipped paint, pealing ceilings. Rooms aren't cleaned thoroughly. House keeping is a joke at this property. Our sink and counter top wasn't cleaned a single time. And we stayed for 7 days. Even after requesting our room be swept due to sand tracking in the room. It was only swept once. Customer service at this property is also poor. Some bar and wait staff employees were rude and acted like they didn't want to be there. I travel out the country three times a year. And I would never return here. Nor would I recommend this property to anyone else. I do appreciate Daniel, Keva, Jaleesa, Mercedes and the two supervisors at Viva Cafe. These employees were a nice. And gave exceptional customer service.
