Everything was great, breakfast was cold which should hot or warm in the warmers also having to take a cold shower in the morning, and the staff not even Notify the guest and at the time of checkout, they couldn't even offer A discount for next stay or anything.

Unfortunately, our first hotel room had large toenails surrounding the bed. When we called the front desk to report this, we weren't offered an apology or anything besides that we could come down to get a different set of room keys. Our second room was right beside our first, so the move was easy, and it was definitely cleaner, except for a growth of mold in the ice bucket! As well, we had no hot water the next day for showers. When we reported this to the desk at checkout, we were offered a business card, and to call the hotel directly, after being told that we had already received a discounted rate, as we had booked through Expedia, so there wasn't much they could do. I said I was sure the discounted rate didn't include large toe nails or cold showers. I wondered why we weren't just settling this now, but when I asked for clarification, I was told that we would get a discounted rate when traveling through Lubbock again. I explained we weren't coming back to Lubbock, and was told she would speak to the manager (someone had already been consulted from behind a closed door) and they would see what they could do. We've not heard anything further.

Swimming pool is 2’6” deep at its deepest, terrible! Bar downstairs was never open. It is a task to get to the hotel because it is on a one way frontage road.
