Took my Hunny for a relaxing few days to celebrate his 55th birthday! GREAT secluded little resort! GREAT staff! GREAT food and drinks in the restaurant! GREAT pool service by staff!
We have stayed at this property a few times and always appreciate the historic architecture and beautiful lake views.

Staff and services were excellent!
The restaurant/bar and food were wonderful - fresh.
The rooms needs some TLC.
Great location with a variety of activities.
The views are phenomenal.
i havent been back in 16 years but it was just as great as our first time staying at Lakeway resort! and this time Lake Travis was fuller than I could remember and the resort offered amazing views all around the resort to enjoy it
We had a great time! I recommend the families reserve in advance the ski jets at the boating facility because they are booked! The only downside was there was only restaurant. Other than that, we loved the spa and had a wonderful time! We will be back.
I think the thing I like the most about my trip was the staff they staff is so nice attentive and accommodating. From the door man desk workers the bar restaurant and the pool. I will visit again the view from the pool was beautiful and the porch especially when the sun goes down.
Elvis the doorman served us well, and talked about exciting news of renovation project coming to this Historic weekend stay spot. The room service is great..I really liked the lake views outside the room. There are seperate adults and kids pools. The adult pool views are the best.
Also check out the Historic 63 restaurant with best views of Travis lake with reasonably priced drinks and bites. Enjoy!
We had a wonderful stay at Lakeway Resort. The kids LOVED the pool area, as did my wife and I. Our room was spacious with high ceilings and a terrific view of Lake Travis. The staff was super friendly. The pool chairs are certainly showing their age with many of them having large tears; that's the only critique I have.
Location was awesome for quiet and peaceful surroundings. Staff was extremely nice. Rooms and AC could be updated but overall very comfortable and clean room
Not what we expected. The general feel was more rundown or worn than expected at this “Resort” price point. Landscaping, carpet in room and general maintenance and cleanliness were not on standard. Food service and options were also disappointing. Restaurant and in-room were both more limited than advertised. Pool area even had broken steps and walkways. Best way to describe would be average experience with above average pricing.
Views were great! Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly, but did not communicate well.
