This property offerw elegance without opulence. It feels cozy, the food is delicious, the staff all go out of their way to make you feel at home. The hot tub is wonderful after a cold day of skiing or a walk.

Vermont Vibe.

This place felt very much like a Vermont Inn. The check in was friendly, we have to walk up 2 flights to our room. We got a suite and it was cozy but worked well for my son having his own room in the pull out. The decor leaned into the vermont vibe as well. The breastfast felt so welcoming and was a great way to start the day. (Wish it started earlier on Saturdays so we could make it the mountain when the lifts open and still enjoy our neal) Great value and I would come back.

Such a unique experience! I got to recharge- the inn keepers were so friendly and welcoming- you felt like you were at home! So close to Okemo - a 5 min drive.. food amazing.. a great hot breakfast !!!

We expected to have dinner at Echo Lake but the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Expedia didn’t give us the right information. I am 83 and still walking without the aid of a cane or walker, but I found the stairs to be perilous. Seniors should only book the place if they can get a first floor room.

Lovely and relaxing inn

Echo lake inn is a cosy bed and breakfast a few miles from Okemo ski resort. It has a lovely character with a shared sitting room with a fireplace and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a few days skiing and it was a lovely respite after a day on the slopes. The breakfast was great and there was a games room downstairs with a pool table etc. The only drawbacks are there is no elevator and not a lot of hot water for showers at times. The surroundings are very pretty and it would be a lovely location at all times of the year. There are a number of fun restaurants a short driving distance away.

Great food but cold showers

Pros: The staff was very friendly. The food was superb. The wait staff in the dining room had to close the curtains to warm up the room even when they said the thermostat was set to 80 degrees. The bedroom was warm. The mattress sunk in the middle. The manager told us when we arrived that the plumbing was iffy and we may get cold water from time-to-time. He said the plumber was coming the next day. The showers were cold throughout our 3 day stay. We would recommend the restaurant.

This is an old historic inn. Lots of original features. Beds were very comfy. Food was delicious. Wish the hot tub was working after a long day of skiing. Staff was very attentive.
