Discover Foreverwater, our cottage by the creek, nestled on 17 wooded acres along side Barren Fork Creek minutes from Leipers Fork Village with direct access to the historic dirt path back roads of eastern Hickman County, Lyles TN. This writer's retreat was once home to guitar maker and author, R. O. Barton (The Tucker Novels).

Leverage this fully furnished home as your seasonal escape to the country, your home between homes, or as your rural office complete with high speed broadband internet. Two large bedrooms, each with their own large cedar closets and full baths, flow into an open plan common area with a large stone fireplace, spacious living room, and a modern eat-in country kitchen. Quiet Retreat

We had a great time at the cottage by the creek! It was the perfect location to enjoy the area, but find space for quiet and rest when we were ready. Clean, beautifully decorated, and homey. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Short and sweet stay

Very clean and cozy. Our family only got to stay one night but we enjoyed our short sweet stay. It overlooks a creek and is so peaceful. It was clean and tidy and the sweet treats were so nice.

A little slice of heaven

Stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather so we could sit outside and enough the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The cottage was well appointed with everything you needed for cooking and bed linen was of high quality. Close to Leipers Fork which is worth a visit. We'd stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Unique, Hidden Hideaway

This is a great place to enjoy some “unplugged” time. Rural setting is breathtaking! The sound of the rolling creek is relaxing. The quiet atmosphere is a much needed break. If you just want some R&R, I recommend. We already want to come back!!

Quick Weekend Getaway

What a treasure! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Even though we were only there one night, the appointments and amenities made it feel like home, but a step up. More than enough of anything we could need, and a quality that was truly inviting. The descent to the creek was steeper than we expected, but was still enjoyed by all. We are already looking forward to returning in the future for a longer stay!

We were in town for wedding so we had a short stay. The house was decorated nice and was very clean. Great view of the creek and we enjoyed the outside fire pit! Would recommend!

We pulled up to a cozy house on the creek. The view of the creek from the house is amazing with all the windows. The house had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The property was clean and everything we wanted it to be.

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary with a night away at this cabin. It was so restful and peaceful. All the decor and touches invited you in to enjoy your time. The view and master bathroom were amazing. The bed was comfortable and we were able to slow down, enjoy the view, the fire pit and the stay. We definitely want to go back!

Incredible location

Such an awesome place to stay as a family. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of space and the proximity to the river. The house was perfect, and the master bath is legendary. In addition, the communication from the property manager was impeccable and they were ready for us ahead of schedule which was a welcome surprise as we were traveling with tired children. This will definitely be our first choice if we are in the area again.

Beautiful property

It was absolutely beautiful. The photos do not completely capture the beautiful of the outdoors and the inside of the house. It was very clean and well kept, the shower is amazing, you will find peace and tranquility there.

We so enjoyed our stay at Foreverwater! Wonderful location, tranquil and quiet, just what we were craving. The home was beautiful, inside and out, with fantastic amenities. It was very clean, fresh and we felt right at home. Nate was a great host; communicated well. We are looking forward to our next trip to Tennessee and will definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing

We were very glad we chose this location for the center of our stay. We were visiting TN for a wedding location close to this Cottage by the Creek property location.
