Magong Vacation Packages
From Magong, Kaohsiung is about 80 miles (129 kilometers) to the southeast, and Taichung is approximately 95 miles (153 kilometers) to the northeast.
Magong has some interesting visitor attractions, like the Penghu Martyrs' Shrine and the Ocean Resource Museum.
Try not to limit yourself to Magong; the wider region has been blessed with an abundance natural and cultural attractions waiting to be explored. Two examples of places within a relatively short distance of Magong are Chi Mei, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northeast, and Yizhu, 45 miles (72 kilometers) to the west.
About 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the southeast of Magong is Tainan, a regional center home to Koxinga Temple, Lin Mo Niang Park and Tainan City Hall. If you have enough time, be sure to check out Tainan District Court, Tainan County Stadium and National Cheng Kung University before you return to Magong.
Head to Taiwan's art museums and history museums. These are great destinations to spend time, especially on unpleasant days.
Pack your equipment or rent some when you get here, and make the most of the region's water sports. Wind surfing is a good activity to try. Another is rafting. Get a totally different perspective of the Taiwan area by taking to the skies. Paragliding is a great way to spend a few hours here.
