"Upsides: Great location, right in Stockholm, so an easy walk to everything in town and to the river. My wife and I were visiting with three adult children plus a significant other, and the cottage had lots of room for us, including a big dining room table and good-sized living room and a big outdoor patio. Kitchen is large, updated, and well-equipped. Lots of parking. We were spending a few days in the "west coast of Wisconsin" area, berry-picking, cidery, lavender farm, short hikes, swimming in the river, local restaurants. The cottage was a great base for all of that. Downsides: As anyone who visits the area knows, train tracks and trains runs through it. It wasn't a big deal to us, but might bother others. Also, the cottage has lots of beds, but two of the bedrooms are sectioned off by curtains, rather than walls and doors. Again, no big deal to us as a family group, but might bother others. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at this property on a sister's trip! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, clean, and full of all of the right necessities. The hot tub was spacious for 4 people, and a GORGEOUS view - we felt like we were in the smoky mountains. We had a somewhat last minute change to our length of stay, and the host was very gracious and accommodating. I would 10/10 recommend this property."

"We loved this property for our girls getaway. So modern and fun for all ages. When we weren’t exploring, we spent a lot of time in the party room, playing bean bags, by the fire pit, and sitting in the hammocks. The items that were supplied were excellent to make our own food. The fire pit was so easy to start! It was a wonderful time with family! "

"I have stayed here several times before while in Red Wing visiting family. My rooms have always been very clean and quiet, even when on the side facing the train tracks. In-room frig and microwave have always been cold and clean. My only complaint is the distance from the lobby/breakfast area to the wing of rooms, but that is a minor inconvenience. There is close parking to the rooms. Pool area is very nice with a convenient set of bathrooms and shower. Breakfast is basic and on busy weekends is sometimes slow to be refilled. I have stayed at several other hotels in town, but this is my hotel of choice."

"This condo has the perfect location. Walkable to bars, restaurants, coffee shop, music under the bridge, The Eagle Center and the walking path along Mississippi River. Two bedroom each with a private attached bathroom. Huge open concept kitchen, dining, living room with fireplace.Host was more than accommodating. Would definitely recommend. "

"We all had an amazing time in such a beautiful location. Very secluded with a wonderful fire pit. Although we did not have a fire. We did enjoy the hot tub very much. The grill was awesome to use and the chairs on the deck were were terrific. We especially love the springed in court. The best part about this place was the fact that was the first time we could all sit around the table together and have a meal without taking turns. Even the door is cute! The owners were extremely responsive and we had a fabulous time! Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Excellent! Excellent. Excellent!"

"Nice cabin for our family of 5 adults and 4 children. The kids loved the trampoline and hot tub and having their own room in basement. Comfortable beds and loved the open area and large dining room."
