If you are looking for the closest place to stay if visiting Carlsbad Caverns then this is the place. However, this property only offers a “no frills” staying experience. Most of the staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable and it was close to the park but that’s where the positives end. The tv and wifi were less than dependable, the breakfast offered was minimal, no ice available and after 3:00 pm the only dining options are a minimum of 40 miles round trip to the property. It’s a place to sleep but not much else.
