The hotel is not a hotel it is a motel . The drive to Te Anau is 20 mins. The view from the motel is beautiful. The beds are not comfortable, and the pictures on Expedia is a misrepresentation of what the property actually is.

Quite basic but comfortable and satisfactorily equipped room. The location and the lake view are worth ten times the reasonable room rate. Guest kitchen and laundry facilities on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommended.
