"The staff were absolutely delightful—so warm and friendly. I don’t speak Portuguese, but that was never a problem. I used Google Translate with one staff member, but that was completely fine; after all, I’m the visitor who doesn’t speak the language. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with modern, updated bathrooms. There’s a huge shopping mall right next door, and getting around is incredibly easy—Uber rides are extremely inexpensive and usually arrive within three minutes because there are so many drivers. The prices were so low that I always tipped the full amount of the fare. The restaurant staff and the food were both exceptional. Overall, I had an amazing stay! While some areas of Manaus require a bit more caution, I felt completely safe at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Five ⭐️!"

"They tried to charge me for having a guest, a schoolar friend, that came to chat within the hotel dependencies . It was said that I could only have my friend for one hour. Horrorizes were felt, totally unpleasant, it is not a “real” Mercure. The staff are hostile. Not getting back while on Manaus. "
