I don’t even know where to begin. Well yes Alex the host from day 1 to the minute we left he was spot on 24/7. His response to all of our questions and assistance with booking our excursions absolutely made our trip From waterfall hikes, zip lining, waterfall repelling,fishing/diving ,ATV, horseback riding on the beach, even dinner reservations, and private Massages. Then the house. OMGOSH exceptional pictures are spot on magnificent, so spacious,super clean and private. Top it off a maid daily to clean, do laundry ect. The wild life in your backyard Monkeys , toucans, parrots everyday. This house is a must. Location perfect to everything thanks Alex for truly making our trip to Costa Rica the best I can go on and on not one Flaw

Perfect Paradise

We had a wonderful four night stay. The property was beautiful, well equipped and maintained, clean and looked every bit as good as the online pictures. Our contact was very informative and gave welcomed insight to the surround area. Couldn't have been better. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

Luxury service and roomy home.

We stayed here with our family and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful area, large pool and outside spaces. The room service was exceptional and the host was extremely helpful and responsive prior to and throughout our stay! We highly recommend hiring his chef to cook a meal and also going to the special beach spots he recommended.

Fantastic vacation

Great stay!!

Great pool!!!! AC’s worked great and all equipped really well. We loved our stay in the jungle and had lots of wildlife around us!!! Alex and team were awesome too! Helped with whatever we wanted to do or needed. Would stay there again!

Paradise Near Manuel Antonio NP

Villa Grande was fantastic for our family group of six adults plus our chauffeur/guide. With five bedrooms each having a bathroom PLUS two more half baths, this property is very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms had additional beds which our group didn't need. AC was excellent. The kitchen is very well equipped. The swimming pool is beautiful with a shallow end and deep end. Inflatable chairs are provided at the pool. There is no washer or dryer available to guests but the maid will do laundry. We hired a private chef to prepare delicious breakfast and dinner our first full day at the villa. Great experience and highly recommended. We arranged it through the host. The host was very helpful and highly recommend using his services for activities. We had experience with tavoleon.com and used them for activities prior to knowing about the host option. Our sunset cruise on Ocean King was excellent. Our chauffer was also our expert guide through the nearby national park. (Martin was arranged through tavoleon.com and excellent.) The property has four levels with lots of stairs so I would not recommend the property to those with mobility issues on stairs. Otherwise it is a fantastic property near the NP and we would strongly recommend it.

Costa Rica 2025

We met family (12 people) for a week of adventure in Costa Rica. Alex was a wonderful host and arranged all transportation, excursions and chef prepared meals. The house suited our needs perfectly with large common areas to accommodate all of us. The bedrooms provided private space for each couple/family unit. Small grocery and cafe just a short walk away. Outstanding!

Pura Vida in Paradise

Our family of 11 stayed here in July and had an awesome stay. Alex was very reachable and even helped us with an item left behind. The property is spacious with 4 stories (lots of different staircases). The kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the grill and outdoor kitchen as well. The views are wonderful and the "monkey highway" running through the backyard provided entertainment. Having our laundry done daily was a huge bonus. The entrance to the driveway is hard to see at night (helps to have someone get out of the car to guide) and a bit steep but totally doable. The location is close to town and the beautiful national park (suggest using a guide if you want to see animals). The pool and bar are fabulous.There is a small market and restaurant that is walkable but the narrow road gets very dark at night. There is a better market if you drive down the hill and take a left that has delicious marinated chicken that was super easy to throw on the grill. We were able to fit 3 midsize SUV's (Rav 4's) in the driveway. (Tip: if you rent cars from Expedia or 3rd party, Costa Rica does not accept their insurance, so wait and get the insurance at the counter). Also, if you are visiting in the rainy season, it rains pretty much every afternoon around 4:00ish. Driving from the San Jose airport in the dark and rain is a slow drive, so try to do your driving here and to Arenal in the daylight. Otherwise the roads are very good and we used Waze,apple/google maps.

Perfect in Paradise

Beautiful property surrounded by rainforest. Plenty of room for our family group of 13. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the large pool. It has a very shallow end with steps that was perfect for the toddlers. One day a group of squirrel monkeys joined us at the pool! Alex was a very helpful and accommodating host. He arranged all of our tours, dining and transportation and was easy to communicate with using WhatsApp. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay at Villa Grande

House and location perfect to enjoy peace and quiet but still be close to Manuel Antonio and Quepos and all that they offer. Alexander took very good care of us. Would highly recommend.

Amazing house. Amazing stay. Amazing host!

From the moment I reserved Villa Grande to the moment we checked out, Alexander was a perfect host. He answered all of my questions quickly, helped me arrange for airport transportation and also a wonderful guided tour of Manual Antonio National Park. It was also quite a luxury to have staff available to do laundry! The house was perfect for 5 couples. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool was spectacular (especially after some hot days) - and we loved the swim-up bar 😊. I highly recommend this house and Alexander as a host. THANK YOU, ALEXANDER!!
